Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clear, fair billing matters to us. Here is exactly how cancellations, proration, and refunds work on CaterTrack.
1. Overview
CaterTrack is a subscription-based software service. This policy explains how you can cancel, what happens to your access, how proration is handled when you change plans, and the limited circumstances in which refunds are issued. It applies to all subscriptions purchased through https://catertrack.in and the CaterTrack apps.
2. Free trial
New accounts may begin with a 30-day free trial. No payment is collected during the trial, so there is nothing to refund. If you choose not to upgrade, your account simply moves to read-only access when the trial ends — you are never charged automatically from a trial.
3. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings inside the app, or by emailing us at support@catertrack.in.
- Access until period end. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for. After that, auto-renewal stops and your account moves to read-only access.
- No future charges. Cancelling turns off auto-renewal, so you will not be billed for the next cycle.
- Your data. Cancelling does not immediately delete your data. You can export it, or request account deletion, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Refunds
Because CaterTrack is a digital service that is available to you immediately and throughout your billing cycle, subscription fees for the current period are generally non-refundable. However, we want every charge to be fair, so we will review and, at our discretion, issue a refund in cases such as:
- Duplicate or accidental charges — e.g. you were charged twice for the same period.
- Technical failure — you were billed but were genuinely unable to access the paid Service due to a fault on our side that we could not resolve.
- Recent first-time charge — if you contact us within 7 days of your first paid charge and have not made substantial use of the paid features, we will consider a refund as a goodwill gesture.
To request a refund, email support@catertrack.in with your registered email address, the invoice or payment reference, and the reason for your request.
5. Plan changes & proration
When you upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle, we calculate the unused value of your current plan and apply it as a credit against the new plan. You pay only the prorated difference, shown to you before you confirm. Proration is handled as an account credit toward your new plan — it is not paid out as cash.
6. How approved refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Razorpay. Once approved, refunds are typically initiated within 2 business days and may take a further 5–7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer. Any applicable payment- gateway fees or taxes may be adjusted as permitted by law.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we will almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
